Online Practice Group: Mindfulness & Yoga for Holiday Ease

8 week online program | Tuesdays, 6:00-7:15pm EST | October 31 - December 19

  • This 8-week online program offers a safe and trauma-informed space to access somatic (body-based) forms of healing. You will learn to attend and befriend your mind and body and decrease experiences of stress, anxiety, and depression with a special focus on end-of-year, holiday stressors.

    Whether you are hoping to build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, find consistency in your mindfulness practice, and/or build a community of like-minded individuals, this course is for you.

    Through the use of the breath and the body, we will move slowly and gently into new ways of processing. We will develop new tools for self-regulation. We will expand our capacity for presence. We will shift from survival mode to expansion and exploration. We will create space for all possibilities and responses. You will be held with compassion and acceptance.

    This course is body positive, gender-affirming, and trauma-informed. All experience levels are welcome. This course will not focus on appearance, size, or achievement in any way, rather guiding participants to look within.

  • This course will meet online via Zoom every Tuesday from 6:00pm - 7:15pm EST for 8 weeks, beginning October 31 and concluding December 19. Each session will include guided meditations, psychoeducation, brief group discussions (sharing optional), guided movement practices, and weekly homework. The program also includes a one-on-one session with Alison to address your personal mindfulness goals and needs. Sessions will be recorded if you are unable to attend live.

  • This program is $250 and includes 8 75-minute sessions, a 30 minute one-on-one session with Alison, weekly handouts, and recordings of each week’s guided meditations and movement sessions (in case you can’t attend). If you are unable to afford the program due to your circumstances, please contact me to discuss sliding scale options.
